Mark Woinicki Named 2010 Head Coach

Winchester, MA (February 16, 2021) – The Boston Rockets announced the hiring of Mark Woinicki as the 2010 Head Coach. Residing in Natick, MA, this former junior hockey forward sure has the experience and knowledge to coach a team of this caliber. Having played in multiple junior leagues, Mark is prepared to take on the new challenge. Mark has played in the EmJHL, MetJHL, AtJHL, and the NJCAA. He plans to bring all of his Tier 1 knowledge and experience to the 2010 team.
Mark has worked with young hockey players for years. He first began coaching back in 2012 with Coach Graeme Townshend at Townshend Hockey as an instructor and is still is on board with the skating school. In this role, Mark put his players to the test with thorough training regimes that improve their skill and overall knowledge of the game. 3 major improvements Mark’s players will make are to their strength, speed, and conditioning. While working with Coach Townshend, Mark also helped out with Townshend’s other training school, Global Performance Academy (GPA) (Link the school). At GPA, Mark took on the role of Head Skating Instructor where he and Coach Townshend would run daily practices with the task of improving players’ attention to detail and game speed with the use of highly effective drills.
