Winchester, MA (February 19, 2021) – The Boston Rockets have announced the hiring of Talia Hohmann as the 10U Girls Head Coach. The Nichols College graduate joins an experienced group of coaches all eager to hit the ice with their new squad. Talia has a rich coaching history that has focused on building players’ character on and off the ice. In her first coaching role she worked with players on improving their teamwork and sportsmanship skills. Qualities that are often commended with our Rockets. She spent some time doing private lessons for children and adults teaching them how to skate and play hockey. Most recently, Talia worked with the Wilmington High School girl’s hockey team as an Assistant Coach.

“I’m excited to have another great hockey mind join our team of coaches. Talia will show what it is like to have a great attitude on and off the ice. She will develop our girls and help them grow into great hockey players and individuals as well,” said our CEO, Dennis Franczak.

“This is great opportunity for me to share my knowledge of the game with these girls. I am thrilled to be a part of the Boston Rockets Girls Program and cannot wait to see what the future holds,” said Coach Talia Hohmann.
